Comanchero Bikie links to $5 million drug haul

FOUR men with alleged links to Comanchero bikies faced court yesterday accused of running a multi-million dollar drug lab.

The men were arrested during dramatic raids by detectives with Strike Force Caramana and the Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad on properties in St Marys and Rockdale on Thursday.

Ahmad Nazzal, 27, of Banksia, Hakan Arif, 32, of Sans Souci, Hussein Kalaleddine, 20, of Rockdale, and Kagan Keskin, 25, of Erskine Park, faced Parramatta Bail Court charged with knowingly taking part in the manufacture of a commercial quantity of prohibited drugs.

The court heard police allegedly seized 10kg of the drug ice inside the St Marys unit, as well as firearms, ammunition and 4kg of pseudoephedrine - commonly used in the manufacture of illegal drugs. Police allege the drugs have a street value of $5 million.
