Govt vows to ban bikie gangs + video

South Australia's government has vowed to ban all bikie gangs after a Hells Angel associate blew himself up with a bomb apparently intended for a rival.
The Hells Angel associate and a convicted drug dealer were killed in the explosion in Adelaide's north on Thursday.
The homemade bomb exploded just 25 metres from the home of a member of the rival New Boys gang, believed to have been their target.
Attorney-General Michael Atkinson said the botched bombing attempt 'shows the true nature of the outlaw motorcycle gangs'.
SA was the first state to enact anti-bikie laws aimed at dismantling the gangs.
Parts of the laws were declared invalid by the SA Supreme Court last September, but the government on Friday was given permission to appeal that ruling in the High Court.
