McQueen Settles with Hells Angels

Sarah Burton can sleep easy in her bed tonight. It’s been eight short days since the Hells Angels filed a Lawsuit against Alexander McQueen after the fashion house used the biker’s famous “Death Head” logo on a clutch bag, knuckle-duster ring, pashmina and a jacquard dress.

Now, however, the design house has settled with the Angels according to their lawyer Fritz Clapp, who spoke to WWD. McQueen has to remove all of the merchandise featuring the logo from sale on their website, stores and concessions and – get this – is going to be forced to recall any of the goodies which have already been sold and DESTROY them. >gulp< The Angels are also in line for some financial compensation from the label, though just how many notes are going to be changing hands is still up in the air. http://www.graziadaily.co.uk/fashion/archive/2010/11/04/mcqueen-settles-with-hell-s-angels.htm
