Supt Jim Migro, from the Gang Crime Squad, said police would heavily monitor the Finks' national run in a bid to prevent trouble that might arise.

Supt Migro would not say how many Finks members were expected by police, but said the gang had 200 members across Australia.

``There has been consultation with the liquor industry through the local Liquor Accords and we are working very closely with them,'' he said.
