THE first application in NSW for a bikie gang to be declared an illegal organisation is almost ready to be presented to the NSW Supreme Court, Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione says.
Mr Scipione said a team of staff was working fulltime on preparing an application to present to the NSW Supreme Court, asking it to declare a particular bikie gang illegal.
"We haven't yet approached the Supreme Court, we are preparing for that," Mr Scipione said.
"I would expect that that would be happening in the not too distant future."
