― Up to 300 members of the Outlaws motorcycle club are expected in Maine for the memorial services of a club member who was killed in a shootout with federal agents.
A visitation memorial for Thomas Mayne was scheduled Saturday at a funeral home in his hometown of Old Orchard Beach. A separate memorial service is planned at the Outlaws clubhouse in the nearby town of Dayton.
York County Sheriff Maurice Ouelette says he expects 250 to 300 members to attend the service in Dayton, but he isn't anticipating any problems.
Mayne was killed June 15 after agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives tried to arrest him at his home.
