Strike Force Raptor officers have charged an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang member after a clandestine drug laboratory was uncovered by officers during a search warrant at Arncliffe.
The man was refused bail and will appear at Sutherland Local Court today.
The arrest follows the execution of a search warrant by police at a home on Wollongong Road at Arncliffe yesterday.
During the search warrant, officers uncovered what they will allege was an active clandestine drug laboratory in the rear of the premises being used for the manufacture of methylamphetamine.
Police seized a number of items during the search warrant including a makeshift police badge, precursor chemicals, drug manufacture equipment, powder believed to be amphetamine, ammunition, and steroids. The items will undergo forensic analysis.
Strike Force Raptor was established by the State Crime Commands Gangs Squad and is a proactive and high-impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gang members and their associates allegedly involved in criminal enterprises.
